Annie Oakley Festival

July 25 -29. The mere mention of the name “Annie Oakley” brings to mind a legend, a legacy and a piece of American history. The life of Phoebe Anne Moses served as an exclamation point honoring the Great American West. Darke County will forever be linked to Annie Oakley as her heritage and place of birth. www.AnnieOakleyFestival.org 

Darke County Civic Theater Old Tyme Melodrama

July 26 - 29. Thursday & Friday @ 7:00 pm, Saturday @ 3:00 & 7:00 pm and Sunday @ 1:00 pm. Come and laugh through this free side-splitting comedy held at the fairgrounds during Annie Oakley Days! Written by Greenville native, Kent Holmes, follow the vast array of comical characters as they try to help improve their little rural town of Brownsville. www.darkecountycivictheater.org 

Thrill of the Grill

July 26 -28. 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Join in the fun at The Winery at Versailles with this unique dining experience! All meats are provided, you do the grillin’. Summer Sprint Car Shootout - Celebrating 50 Years

July 28. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of USAC (United States Auto Club) Sprint Car racing at Eldora Speedway, one giant night of racing has been inked. It will live up to the traditional Eldora standards of greatness, complete with a 50-lap finale to honor the benchmark occasion.
