Workshop Learning Center
Center expands to include Preschool program
Focused on ages 3-5, enrollment limited

The Workshop Learning Center is excited to announce their latest expansion: PRESCHOOL! This part-time preschool will focus on the necessary skills for student success in Kindergarten and beyond.  A theme based, standards driven curriculum taught by highly qualified and caring mentors will be the foundation of this program. Children ages 3-5 will be engaged in a variety of opportunities to play and explore the world around them in order to understand and foster the joy of learning.

The staff at The Workshop Learning Center is well qualified. All of the teachers are currently licensed by the state of Ohio with classroom teaching experience. The director has over 10 years of experience teaching children.  Collaboration with local schools ensures that our program will prepare students for kindergarten.

Daily activities will vary and include language and math work, music and movement, arts and crafts, fine motor development, science exploration, dramatic play and much more.

We are now accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year. Our staff to child ratio will be 1 to 6; half of the state’s required 1 to 12 ratio so space is very limited. This program is designed for children ages 3-5. We have am & pm classes on Tuesday and Thursday. A Friday morning class will be offered to students who will be attending Kindergarten in the following year.

An Open House is scheduled for Friday, August 4th from 6-8pm. Come enjoy Downtown Greenville’s First Fridays with live music and learn more about this great program.

We also offer private academic tutoring for grades k-12, test prep and private music lessons on violin, viola, cello, bass and piano. For more information and/or to enroll your child, please contact The Workshop Learning Center at 937-459-5937, www.theworkshoplc.com, or email michelle@theworkshoplc.com.
