Annie Oakley Days...
Rent a camping spot at the Annie Oakley Festival?
The 2012 festival is being held July 27, 28, and 29.

You can arrive at the fairgrounds as early as Monday, July 23, stay until Sunday, and pay only $25 per night. You can stay past Sunday by making arrangements with the secretary’s office at the fairgrounds.

For that small payment you will get a full hookup: electric, water, sewer and three days and over 24 hours of great entertainment.  In addition to the 24 hours of entertainment, we also have the Melodrama in the youth building, the Annie Oakley Western Arts Showcase in the Coliseum, Indian Creek Regulators, National Kiddie Tractor Pull, and the Shawnee Bandits fast draw.

New to the festival this year is the Little Miss and Mr. contest sponsored by Diane Evans Insurance at 7pm on Friday, and at 1pm on Saturday, the Annie Oakley car show sponsored by Doolittles Auto Service, Cornhole tournament sponsored by C & L Electric, Family Fun Games sponsored by Gunckle’s Tree Service, and all day on Sunday the new Darke County has Talent contest at the south entertainment tent.

You could also take side trips to other Darke County destinations. Take in the great sidewalk sales in Downtown Greenville, attend the Gathering at Garst, visit the Bears Mill, tour the KitchenAid factory, wine tasting at The Winery at Versailles, and many other great attractions.

To reserve you camping spot call Judie Hathaway, Festival President at 548-2391.

Remember that camping is always more fun with your friends, neighbors, and relatives. Be sure to pass on this information and make plans before the limited spots are taken, and join us in July.

The complete schedule of events for the Annie Oakley Festival is available at our web site: http://www.annieoakleyfestival.org.

The Annie Oakley Festival is supported by a $500 grant from the Darke County Visitors Bureau, visit the bureau’s website: www.VisitDarkeCounty.org.
