hold Annual Soccer Shoot

Park behind Krogers – Greenville, OH
When:
Saturday, May 12 from 9am – 12pm
All
participants will receive a hot dog and a cup of juice, just for
participating. 1st
place winners in each
age group will be eligible to participate in the District Event, also
held here
in Greenville. Top
3 in each group will
be eligible to attend an awards banquet to be held May 24, 2012 at 6pm
at the
Elks. Winners of
the District event will
move on and receive a one night’s stay in Coshocton, OH for the State
Soccer
Shoot. ***CHANGE
for 2012*** The
U-10 Age groups will shoot at the large
grid goal from a distance of 18 feet.
The contestant’s age will be determined as of
their age on August 1st,
2012.
Divisions
U-8 (Ages
5-7) – Will shoot 3 balls plus an optional practice ball at 5 goals
varying in
width from 48” to 17”.
U-10 (Ages
8-9) – Will shoot 15 balls plus 3 practice balls from 18 feet away at
an 8’ x
24’ goal broken down into 9 sections with a size 4 ball.
U-12 (Ages
10-11) - Will shoot 15 balls plus 3 practice balls from 36 feet away at
an 8’ x
24’ goal broken down into 9 sections with a size 4 ball.
U-14 (Ages
12-13) - Will shoot 15 balls plus 3 practice balls from 36 feet away at
an 8’ x
24’ goal broken down into 9 sections with a size 5 ball.
