The Arcanum Lion’s club Chicken BBQ Dinner will be served again this year on Saturday, May 19th starting at 11:30 A.M. until sold out at the Arcanum Fire House located on South Main Street. A new feature will be the Curb Side Carry Out adjacent to the fifre house in the alley.  A Lion’s member will be taking the order and delivering it right to your car.  No need to leave your car to obtain that delicious dinner. For those who enjoy the inside dining and fellowship, on-site dining will be held inside the fire house.  Dinners will consist of BBQ Chicken, chips, Applesuace, Roll and Orange Drink.  Cost per dinner is $7.  Brumbaugh’s fruit pie by-the-slice will be available at an additional cost. 

Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society Presents Spring Fling Gardening Sale 

The Arcanum Historical Society will be holding a Spring Fling Yard Sale at the historical building located at 123 W. George Street in Arcanum, featuring first ever items ‘Garden Ladies and their Friends’ (the society’s version of scarecrows).  The ladies are dressed in elegant finery complete with spring hats matching lovely dresses complete with scarves and jewelry.  Also for sale will be spring wreaths, teacup birdhouses, butterfly gardens in-a-dish, and numerous other items to decorate every flower garden at reasonable prices.  There will be a section at the sale with home baked goodies of cakes, cookies, pies and more.  The sale starts on Friday evening, May 18th at 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and continues on Saturday, May 19th from 9:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
