Gathering At Garst 2013
Gathering will highlight Darke County towns and villages

Planning is well underway for the third Gathering at Garst in Greenville, Ohio. On Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28, The Darke County Historical Society will welcome thousands of visitors to the grounds of Garst Museum during this highly anticipated event.

This year's theme "Reflecting on the History of Darke County Towns and Villages," will remind visitors that there's "No Place Like Home." Representatives from Arcanum, Union City, Versailles, Gettysburg, Palestine, and Hollansburg are busy planning their exhibit that will be displayed in a large tent showcasing their history. A sample booth has been set up at Garst Museum to provide them an example of how to put their exhibit together.

If you would like to participate and see your town or village represented in this exhibit, please contact Sue Besecker at 937-417-6038 or email her at: suebee848@gmail.com. Inquires can also be sent to info@gatheringatgarst.com. Representatives are welcome to stop in Garst Museum during regular business hours to pick up more information and to see the sample booth.

The Garst Museum is located at:
