Special Meeting for Parents of New 4-H Members 

The enrollment deadline to join 4-H has come and gone. Your child joined 4-H in 2013.  Now what?  A special meeting for parents of new 4-H members will be held Monday, April 8, 2013, at 7pm, at the Extension Office (603 Wagner Avenue, Greenville).  This meeting is designed for parents of members who are age eight and in third grade and older. 

Included in the meeting will be an overview of the 4-H program and the opportunities that are available to 4-H members.  Topics include 4-H camp, project workshops, state 4-H opportunities and more.  In addition, a panel of three 4-H volunteers will share what is expected of 4-H members and their parents in order to develop an effective 4-H club. 

No pre-registration is required for this meeting.  Those interested in learning more about the 4-H program should plan to attend.
