March 1 - First Fridays: Culinary Tour. Eat and sip your way through the urban spirited district of downtown Greenville. The two hour guided tour of several downtown establishments highlighting amazing fare will start promptly at 6:00 pm. March 2 - Maple Sugarin' at The Prairie. Enjoy guided tours through history and science to learn the process of turning sap into syrup. Visit the Sugar Shack to warm up in the steam-filled evaporator room, and learn about the countless hours of boiling to reduce sap down to syrup. Visit with the 200-year-old pioneers and discuss 18th century life at the Log House. Wrap up your visit at the Nature Center where the gift shop will be full of maple goodies for your sweet tooth. March 8 - Irish Wave. Join the Darke County Center for the Arts for an unforgettable evening of Irish music, food, and beer tasting at the Turtle Creek Golf Course. Tickets are limited. Please call (937) 547-0908 or visit www.CenterforArts.net for details.

March 9 - 2nd Annual BMIpalooza! This is the signature event for the Ohio Indoor Kart Series at BMI Indoor Speedway. A huge racing program with over 16 classes of go-kart racing divided into two sessions. One admission covers both sessions. (937) 526-9544 Click here to visit the website

March 17 - Fallen Timbers 1794 Lecture at Garst Museum. The last of the 2012/13 Free Lecture Series at Garst Museum will launch the latest book by author, John F. Winkler. Fallen Timbers 1794 chronicles the events of "Mad" Anthony Wayne's appointment to rebuild the American Army after the defeat at Wabash in 1792. The Battle at Fallen Timbers led directly to the Treaty of GreeneVille in 1795 which ended 20 years of conflict between the Americans and the Ohio Indians. The book launch will be held in the Lowell Thomas Meeting Room at Garst Museum from 2:00 to 3:30 pm. (937) 548-5250. www.GarstMuseum.org.

March 23 - The Good Lovelies. Funny and upbeat, with just a pinch of sass, the Good Lovelies‘ lighthearted songwriting and irresistibly buoyant dispositions have made them the darlings of folk music. March 23 - Egg Dyeing, Naturally. Start a new tradition with your family and friends. Join Mara Cox as she shares her Latvian heritage of dyeing eggs with natural items, including onion skins, flowers and leaves to create a one-of-a-kind Easter eggs. (937) 548-0165 www.DarkeCountyParks.org

March 22 - Cinder Home at The Coffee Pot. Enjoy the bluegrass roots with new age folk of Cinder Home from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. (937) 459-5498.

March 23 - Soup n Bowl Fundraiser at Bear's Mill. Enjoy homemade soups presented in a unique, stoneware soup bowl as you support the heritage of Bear's Mill. Bowls are hand-made and donated by local potters Julie Clark, Dionne Fleming, Rita Wiley and Loretta Wray. Delicious soups donated by The Bistro off Broadway and fresh-made breads donated by Bakehouse Breads. Desserts, beverage and live music by Brian Wallen also offered. March 30 - Hippity Hop 5K Trail Run/Walk and Easter Egg Hunt. Fun for all ages, challenge yourself to this trail run/walk at Chenoweth Trail, and bring your children for the easter egg hunt.
