Greenville Public Library
Minnetrista Theater & A Movie

The Greenville Public Library's “Family Fun Days” got off to a great start with over 200 people attending Mark Wade's ventriloquist performance last Wednesday.  The laughing and clapping could be heard down the block!  For next Wednesday June 19 a new group will perform at 11:00 a.m. - the Minnetrista Theater Preserves.

Five of Aesop's most treasured stories come to life with bright costumes, quirky characters, singing, and dancing.  The Lion & the Mouse, the Country Mouse & City Mouse, The Fox & the Crane,The Ant & the Grasshopper, and the Tortoise & the Hare will enchant children and adults alike with live puppetry theater.

In case of rain we'll meet at the First Congregational Christian Church Activity Building on Fifth Street.  Many thanks to the Friends of the Library for their generous sponsorship of “Family Fun Days.”

A children's movie will be shown on Tuesday June 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room.  The Land Before Time is rated G.  Tickets are free but seating is limited.  Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis.  For more info please call 548-3915.
