Knitting Class at Library

The Greenville Public Library is offering a free knitting class on Wednesday November 13th from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the upstairs Meeting Room. Class is limited to 10 students. Please bring knitting needles size 8 or 9 and cotton yarn (which is easy to work with). Call at 548-3915 or stop by to sign up!

The class is being taught by three members of the Knitting Club, a group of knitters who meet at the Library the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 2:00 p.m. They are Janet Wenning, Janice Fitzgerald, and Darlene Hart. The Knitting Club welcomes new members! Let us know if you're interested.

Knitting and crocheting are very popular art forms. Not only are they relaxing and enjoyable to do but the results are something beautiful and useful. The Crochet Class on October 16th was taught by the Library’s own Stephanie St. Myers and her sister Jessica Gonzales.
