Dear Darke
County Parks Volunteer(s),
I am sending this email to you as we are still in need of lots of
volunteer assistance for our Prairie Days Festival.
Please take a couple moments and review the attach volunteer sign-up
sheet with various the volunteer opportunities, along with the shift
times for the weekend. Please review the opportunities and the brief
descriptions (on the back) of each opportunity and let me know what you
would like to be involved with for Prairie Days. If you would
like to assist, but none of these work, please let me know as I have
additional opportunities available.
Prior to the festival we will be having a Prairie Days Training on
Saturday, September 20, 10AM or Monday, September 22, 6:30PM. I
would like all volunteers who are assisting with Prairie Days to
attend. During the training you will be shown where your station
is located, what your role will be during the festival and you will
receive your parking/food pass. Please let me know which one of
the trainings you will be available to attend.
We are in need of several festival donations, please let me know if you
are interested in donating any of the following items; pumpkins,
gourds, cases of bottled water and fresh-cut herbs (lavender, thyme,
rosemary, oregano, sage, mint). Thanks in advance for all of the
donations.
Prairie Days 2014, September 27th (10am-5pm) & September 28th

Do you have a friend or spouse that would also like to volunteer? If
so, be sure to sign them up for something also.
