DCP Volunteers,

Below you will find several volunteer opportunities for the month of January please let me know if you wish to assist with any of them.

·  Gardeners- We need your help starting some native prairie plants!  The Park District is going to purchase a couple species of seed and we are looking for volunteers to plant/grow this seeds at their house. The plants will then be sold at the plant sale on April 25.  Please let me know if you are interested in helping with this opportunity.

·  Project Feeder Watch- Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:30-11:30AM.  Are you able to help us track which birds are spending time at the Nature Center’s bird feeding station?  All the data collected is turned in to Cornell University. This is a great opportunity to learn Darke County’s common birds.
