Free Summer Concert!
Join the Darke County Parks on Saturday, July 19th at 7:00pm as we
invite the band Elixir for a FREE Summer Concert! Elixir
re-invents music of the American 1800’s with unique arrangements,
taking popular songs of our ancestors and blending them with the music
styles of musicians that followed them. This talented trio plays
guitars, mandolin, fiddle and a number of swell percussion instruments,
not to mention a duck call. Every performance is full of laughs,
sing-a-longs, toe tapping, hand clapping and lots of historical
information. The concert will occur at the Shawnee Prairie Preserve
outdoor stage area (4267 State Route 502 West). Some amphitheater
seating is available, or you can bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit
on. Join us for an evening of music under the summer sky!
