hobby? We have 2 opportunities available to get you started!
Darke
County Parks’ Native Plant Sale:
April
26, 2014
10am-4pm
Butterfly
gardening is the focus of the plants available this year. Please
consider planting milkweed to help provide habitat for the struggling
monarch population. Plants are available for pre-sale AND/OR purchase
on the day of the Plant Sale. Pre-sale is the only way to guarantee
that you will receive the quantity and variety of plants that you
want. Pre-sale forms and payment must be turned in
by
March 28, 2014. If you can’t decide what to order, then visit us
during the plant sale to see what is available!

Photo Contest:
Calling
all amateur photographers! Get outside and capture the beauty of YOUR
Darke County Parks! Winning photos submitted to the Park District
Photo Contest will be used to create a 2015 calendar and will be sold
in the Nature Center’s Gift Shop!
Basic
Rules:
• Photo
must be taken within one of the Park District’s 12 Areas
• Photo
must be from 2010-2014
• Digital
Entries Only
• 3
entries per month, per photographer
• Photos
will be accepted December 1, 2013 through November 1, 2014
