Health Care Center is Tackling an Alarming Trend
The Increasing Number of Athlete Knee Injuries
The Rehab Clinic at Versailles Health Care Center is a Certified
Clinical Site for Cincinnati SportsMedicine and Orthopaedic Center’s,
nationally acclaimed Sportsmetrics™ program. This 6-week program
was designed to help athletes refine neuromuscular control of the lower
limbs and is available at Versailles Health Care Center. This
specialty camp starts June 9th and runs until July 18th.
The camp will be from 7-8 am every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for a
total of 18 sessions. Cost is $300/6-week program (18 sessions at
$6 per session). Screenings can be completed on the first day of
camp or prior to by appointment.
Sportsmetrics™ is a comprehensive jump training program that combines
plyometrics, strength training, and flexibility. It is the only
scientifically proven program that reduces the risk of knee injury,
increases jump power and improves leg strength for sports like soccer,
basketball, and volleyball that involve pivoting, cutting, or jumping.
