Coppock-Hole
Trust Sponsors DCCA Special Event
The McCartney Years at St. Clair Memorial Hall
Darke County Center for the Arts thanks the Coppock-Hole Trust for
sponsoring the upcoming special event The McCartney Years, Saturday,
November 8 concert and their longstanding and generous support of the
arts in Darke County. “DCCA is grateful for the continued
generosity of the Coppock-Hole Trust, which provide opportunities for
cultural enrichment in our community,” stated Andrea Jordan, DCCA
Executive Director. The Coppock-Hole Trust has been a sponsor of
DCCA programs for over 30 years as well as supporting the preservation
of the Henry St. Clair Memorial Hall as an important cultural center.
Declared the best tribute band on the scene today by the promoter who
originally brought The Beatles to North America, The McCartney Years
performs three decades worth of the music made famous by the Beatles
and Wings. Led by Yuri Pool, who is committed to accurately
presenting the vocal and musical stylings of Sir Paul, the group
includes David Usselman, Braden DeCooman, Darryl Lahteenmaa, Aaron
Gueverra, and Karen Bell as Linda McCartney. “Live and Let Die,” “Let
It Be,” and “The Long and Winding Road” are just a few of the songs
that will be recreated live at the concert. “This is the fiftieth
anniversary of The Beatles' landing in America and changing music
forever; whether or not you ever saw the real Beatles or Wings or Paul
himself, I can't think of a better way to celebrate this milestone than
experiencing the spectacle of 'The McCartney Years,'” shared Keith
Rawlins, DCCA Artistic Director.
Greenville National Bank is also a sponsor of this DCCA special event.
Additionally, the Ohio Arts Council helped fund this program with state
tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and
cultural enrichment for all Ohioans. DCCA also receives operating
support from the Harry D. and Esther Stephens Memorial as well as
funding from the Ketrow Foundation and Lydia E. Schaurer Memorial Trust
Fund.
Tickets for The McCartney Years cost $30, and can be purchased by
contacting DCCA at 937-547-0908 or purchased at DCCA's office located
within Greenville Public Library, as well as online at
www.CenterForArts.net. If any remain by show time, tickets will also be
available at the door prior to the performance.
