Public Meeting
of Ohio Board of Voting Machine Examiners
COLUMBUS – Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted today announced that the
Ohio Board of Voting Machine Examiners will meet on Tuesday, September
9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Secretary of State’s Office located at 180
East Broad St., 15th Floor, Columbus, Ohio, 43215.
The agenda includes:
· Review of the
application for certification of the EA Tablet electronic pollbook
(submitted by Election Administrators) and examination of the pollbook
for certification and approval for use in Ohio elections.
· Review of the
application for certification of the ExpressPoll 1.2.0.54 electronic
pollbook (submitted by Election Systems & Software [ES&S]) and
examination of the pollbook for certification and approval for use in
Ohio elections.
· Review of the
application for certification of the KNOWiNK electronic pollbook/poll
pad (submitted by KNOWiNK) and examination of the pollbook for
certification and approval for use in Ohio elections.
· Review and
examination of the LiveBallot marking device (submitted by Democracy
Live) for the approval of the device for use as authorized by Ohio
Revised Code §3506.04.
This meeting of the Board is open to the public.
Board Members: Dale Fellows (Board of Elections Member, Lake
County), Joyce Kale-Pesta (Director, Mahoning County Board of
Elections), William Anthony, Jr. (Director, Franklin County Board of
Elections) and Jeffrey A. Matthews (Director, Stark County Board of
Elections).
