AARP Offering
Smart Driver Course
Do you need a refresher course to keep up on the all the new “rules of
the road” and driver’s safety techniques? Here is your change to
spend a few hours learning from what you need to know – bring all your
friends and make it a group learning day.
AARP is offering their “Smart Driver Course” for people age 50+ on
Thursday, October 2 from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. It will be in the
Council on Rural Services building at 116 E. Third Street in Greenville.
The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non AARP members, with
registration open now through September 30th. Remember cold and winter
weather is coming and now is the time to get this updated information.
Lunch will be an hour long, so you can either bring your lunch or there
are a few restaurants within walking distance.
