Call to Commemorate Vietnam Veterans

On April 23 at 7 pm at the theatre at Edison Community College in Piqua, Ohio, the community, students, and veterans from all time periods since World War Ii will be coming together to welcome home, at last, all the men and women who served in the Vietnam war and during the Vietnam Era.

To celebrate this homecoming, the Miami Valley Veterans Museum in Troy, Ohio, with its mission statement of “They shall not be forgotten” has worked with the local college  to prepare a celebration and commemoration that includes music, an array of special displays, a panel of three Vietnam veterans speaking of their experiences, a color guard, a montage of “Veterans Voices from Cable Channel 5, and special awards as well as awards for each Vietnam and Vietnam era veteran in the audience.

Admission is free and the public is invited. Refreshments provided by Edison employees will be served.
