Winter Reading at Library

The year couldn’t start on a more positive note at the Greenville Public Library than with our Winter Reading Program for adults, teens, and kids - from January 24th to February 28th.  “Winter Wonderland” for adults ages 18 and up features weekly prizes such as gift certificates and a special grand prize yet to be announced.

Just check out any book, audiobook, ebook, or magazine and receive an entry form for each one.  Drawings take place every Friday.  In other words, curl up with great winter reads and win!

A “Frozen” themed Family Event on January 24th from 1:00 to 3:00 will kick off the teens’ and kids’ Winter Reading.  This event is appropriate for everyone ages three and up.  There will be games and activities such as indoor snowman building, snowball toss, prizes and snacks - followed by the movie “Frozen“ in the upstairs meeting room.

Families who enjoyed our previous Dr. Seuss, Superheroes, and Lego Events will be sure to have a good time at this event as well!

Winter Reading Program Details: Kids will be entered into prize drawings for checking out materials from the library.  Grand prizes for teens and children include Samsung Tablets and sleds. Other winter themed prizes will be available as well.  Spend your winter at the Library and enjoy reading, fun, and prizes!
