Darke County Center for the Arts
Second National Bank Sponsors The Texas Tenors

Darke county Center for the Arts recognizes Second National Bank as an Impresario sponsor of the 2015-2016 “VOICES” season. “Second National Bank’s sponsorship provides a variety of opportunities for all members of the community to learn and grow through participating in the arts,“ stated Andrea Jordan, DCCA Executive Director.  “DCCA appreciates SNB’s commitment to the community through supporting events that help make Darke County a great place to live.”

SNB is a Spotlight Sponsor for the critically acclaimed The Texas Tenors sold out performance on Saturday, April 16, at St. Clair Memorial Hall.  From Alabama to Puccini, John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher treat audiences to a unique harmony of country, classical, Broadway and contemporary music. They use breathtaking vocals, humor and a touch of cowboy charm to create a memorable and musically impressive show. With their Emmy Award winning PBS special now airing across the country, and Billboard chart-topping albums, it's easy to see why The Texas Tenors are quickly becoming America's favorite new tenors.

SNB is also a sponsor of DCCA’s Family Theater Series, three professional theatrical programs specifically chosen to reach out to the young and young at heart.  DCCA’s 2015/2016 Family Theatre Series included three performances - Theatreworks USA presented The Lightning Thief on October 4th; ArtsPower’s colorful musical production of the storybook favorite Madeline & the Bad Hat on November 15th; And most recently, Lightwire Theater returned to Darke County with a cosmic adventure of their latest electroluminescent puppetry production Moon Mouse A Space Odyssey on April 3.   Family Theatre Series shows take place at St. Clair Memorial Hall, in Greenville, and thanks to continued community support ticket prices have remained at $5 since the first performance in 1997.

DCCA’s recent sold out 4th annual Irish Wave FUNdraiser celebrated the rich traditions of the Emerald Isle, at the Montage Café, featuring music by returning favorite Lone Raven, thanks to the sponsorship of SNB.  For more information on DCCA and the 2015-2016 “VOICES” season contact the DCCA office at 937-547-0908, and online at www.CenterForArts.net.
