The main portion of the event focused on the Republic Primary for County Commissioner: Matthew Aultman, Freddie E. Dean and Joe LeMaster.  The successful Republican candidate will face the Democratic candidate, Leon Rogers, in the General Election. The Commnissioner candidates were given two minute introductory speeches.  Following that, they answered questions submitted by the audience and discussed issues.  They concluded with a one minute statement.

In person early/absentee voting is continuing at the Darke County Board of Elections, 300 Garst Ave. in Greenville. During the week of March 7 – 11, voting is available there from 8 AM – 7 PM, Saturday, March 12 voting is from 8 AM – 4 PM; Sunday, March 13, 1 – 5 PM and Monday, March 14 from 8 AM – 2 PM.
