Annual Home
& Sport Show starts Friday
Come one come all to the 55th Annual Darke County Sheriff’s Patrol Home
& Sport Show beginning Friday, April 7, 2017. The doors will open
at 4:00pm with opening ceremony at 6:00pm. The show will continue on
Saturday the 8th from 9:00am to 9:00pm and on Sunday, April 9th,
10:00am-5:00pm.
This is a free public event with donations accepted. Come experience
the new location in the Beef & Dairy Pavilion on the north side of
the Darke County Fairgrounds. Over 90 vendors vendors will be located
inside and outside the pavilion. There will be recreational vehicles,
camping, fishing and outdoor displays along with landscaping, home
improvements and demonstrations and helpful hints for your own health.
Experience the flavors from the Sheriff’s Patrol Kitchen and other
exhibitor’s. Enjoy fishing in a live fishing pond, participate or just
watch the corn hole tournament and the Ohio State Championship Kiddie
Tractor Pull. The Greenville High School Wavaires will perform
Saturday night and the Montessori School youth will perform on
Sunday. Brook Netzley will be singing the National Anthem.
Mario and Luigi will be available for pictures. There will be Sheriff’s
Canine demonstrations, the 4-H Dog Clubs Committee will have a
Parade of Breeds along with other events.

This is a great Free event for all ages. Donations will be
accepted. Door prizes galore and you do not need to be present to
win. Come and support our businesses and youth along with supporting
the Sheriff’s Patrol, a 501c3, non profit group that is mainly funded
by two fund raiser events a year, not taxes. Hope to see you at
