We Are the Majority
2nd Annual
Majority Awareness Walk
The students of We are the Majority through Recovery and Wellness
Centers of Midwest Ohio are planning the 2nd Annual Majority Awareness
Walk! The date of the event will be Monday, April 2nd at 10:00,
which is spring break for most schools. Please help spread the
word and feel free to join the walk with our students that day! I
have attached details!
We had over 200 individuals attend the walk last year and hope to see
numbers grow! Thank you for supporting our youth and their
commitment to be drug, alcohol and tobacco free as a MAJORITY of
students are! A special “thank you” to The Coalition for a
Healthy Darke County, The City of Greenville, American Family Insurance
and Whirlpool for helping make this walk possible!
Put it on your calendar! Monday, April 2nd at 10:00 am at Annie Oakley
Park Greenville, OH. Walk will begin down Broadway and will conclude at
the City Building with a Proclamation to declare Majority Awareness
Week, speeches from We are the Majority Teen Leaders and community
members vested in the importance of drug-free lifestyles.
Hotdogs, snacks, and drinks provided by Whirlpool and RWC Donations.

Families, professionals and youth, please come out to show your support
for a drug-free future for Darke County and pride in knowing a MAJORITY
of students who are paving the way to success by abstaining from drugs,
tobacco use, and underage drinking!
