He and wife Karen are quite involved in Historical Reenactment, portraying characters of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century.  With their love of the outdoors, they both enjoy traveling, hunting, fishing and camping.  John will recite a stirring excerpt from General Douglas MacArthur’s speech Duty, Honor, Country.

Also scheduled to appear will be Greenville resident Jim Buchy, chairman of the Agricultural Education Foundation with an encore performance of Testimonials to Liberty.  We are proud to announce the appearance of crowd favorites John and Chelsea Whirledge.  They will be singing with the band on You Raise Me Up, America the Beautiful and God Bless the USA.
