Debbie… and millions like her

Two-year-old Debbie surveyed her surroundings with a sense of calm. It
was quiet... she was alone. On the other side of the room was the box
with the funny pictures on it. It made her laugh. Sometimes. It had big
people on it now... grownups. She looked away. She couldn’t hear what
they were saying. Next to it is the couch Daddy lies on when he’s

On September 21st, September 28th, and on October 7th, 2011,
Commissioner Mike Stegall will be having coffee and speaking with the
residents of the Brethren Retirement Community. The September
21st meeting will take place at 9:00 a.m. in the main facility.
