Community in a celebratory mood despite heat

Temps were playing tag with three digits by the time the New Madison
Independence Day parade kicked off at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Gone was the
breeze that provided brief relief earlier in the day at Ansonia. The
heat didn’t stop residents of the small community from setting up for

who’s going to the Farm Power of the Past this weekend? Temps are
supposed to hit (and surpass) triple digits today. They keep saying
it’s supposed to start cooling off tonight. We’ll see. The event
