Breakfast lovers missed out on a great opportunity Saturday… pancakes, sausage, drink of choice and an old-fashioned get-together with old and new friends. All for five bucks! Kiwanians and Key Club members put on a pancake breakfast for the community Saturday. Customers not only got a great morning meal but had an opportunity to meet with old and new friends and discuss a few issues of the day. The Lady Wave softball team got a chance to ‘feed up’ before their scrimmage at noon. State Rep. Jim Buchy probably spent as much time talking as he did eating. ‘Nelson Remembered’ sold out; lecture moved to auditorium

I guess spring is really here. At least that’s what the calendar gurus tell us since Tuesday was the first “Official” Day of Spring.
