Thomas named CCC Player of the Year
DARKE COUNTY — Tri-Village’s Shaye Thomas was named the Cross County
Conference girls basketball player of the year, topping the awards
earned by Darke County players. Thomas, a senior guard, was named the
player of the year while Miami East’s Preston Elifritz was named the
coach of the year. Thomas averaged 14.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.6
assists and 3.5 steals per game this season. Along with Thomas, Darke
