Local chapter presents award, donation to NJROTC members

On Saturday 27 April Greenville Senior High School Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) Cadets demonstrated their marching skills for the Daughters of the American Revolution Fort GreeneVille Chapter.  The event started with GHS NJROTC presenting Colors and the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a demonstration of Color Guard precision marching. Next followed a demonstration of unarmed and armed platoon drill required for formal competitions

The Darke County Harness Horsemens Association annual matinee will be Sunday May 19 with no rain date. The races start at 1:00 p.m. at the Darke County Fairgrounds, Greenville, OH. Admission is free.
