Achieving decent work is essential not only for young people, but for a community’s stability and growth.  This summer in Darke County the WIA Youth Program facilitated a work experience for two youth in a summer training program that helped to break down some of the barriers and create positives for their future.  The host work/mentoring sites of Community Action Partnership, Darke County YMCA and Council on Rural Services proved that working with youth is very worthwhile for all involved.
