Felony prosecutions are not equal

GREENVILLE – “Nationwide only 1 to 2 percent of felonies go to trial,”
Darke County Prosecutor Kelly Ormsby said. The rest – 98 to 99 percent
– are resolved outside of the courtroom. There are several reasons for
it, but mostly it is based upon the strength of the case and having a
