GREENVILLE – “I was raised in a sheep barn,” said Eli Davidson. The Preble County resident was grooming his 6-month-old Rambovillett for the coming show. The 20-year-old has been showing his sheep since he was six. “This was my dad’s 4H project since 1984; it just kind of spiraled into mine.” He added his dad had sheep from the time he was ten. He also has a cousin, nine, who is in 4H and works with sheep and goats. Davidson is no longer in 4H but still shows Open Class. He swept that class at the Preble County Fair. “I had first...
