Spending the Future: President’s Deficit-Filled Budget Threatens Job Growth

Yesterday, President Obama sent Congress a $3.73 trillion budget that calls for more failed ‘stimulus’ spending and job-crushing tax hikes on families and small businesses.  The President’s budget destroys jobs by spending too much, taxing too much, and borrowing too much.

This week, House Republicans will move to create a better environment for job creation and economic growth.  We will go beyond our Pledge to America and cut at least $100 billion in discretionary spending over the next seven months.  And there will be more cuts to come.

Each year grassroots activists from southwest Ohio and across the country gather in Washington, D.C., for the Conservative Political Action Conference to share ideas, meet with Congressional leaders and build support for the values of limited government, individual liberty and free markets.

Open Door Program

The “Open Door” program gives Eighth District residents the opportunity to meet face-to-face with a member of my congressional staff to ask questions, discuss problems, and offer opinions about issues related to the federal government.

Staff will be located at the following locations NEXT TUESDAY, February 22, 2011:
