Teamsters hit Bud
distributor with EPA complaint

Teamsters Local Union 957 is turning up the heat on Dayton-based
Heidelberg Distributing Co.
Just a few weeks after launching a public campaign against one of the
region’s largest beer wholesalers, the union announced it filed a
complaint Friday with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency alleging
that Heidelberg dumped contaminated water into a storm water drain on
the company’s property.
A few weeks ago, the Teamsters indicated they may strike at Heidelberg
and accused the company of breaking of contract negotiations and
implementing a wide range of changes.
