Dayton Business Journal...
Dayton businesses ready for latest Twilight movie
by Ginger Christ
Wednesday, November 9, 2011

Dayton is on board to sink its fangs (sorry I had to) into the next Hollywood installment of Stephenie Meyers’ Twilight saga.

The third film, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1,” will debut at midnight Friday, Nov. 18 at a number of local theaters.

In preparation, Beavercreek-based Cake Hope and Love, a local bakery, is selling Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn cupcakes.

Cake Hope and Love is offering Cullen Packs, which feature two chocolate cake cupcakes topped with the Cullen family crest and two raspberry red velvet cupcakes with vampire bites; Black Packs, which feature two boston cream pie cupcakes with the Black family crest and two black forest cupcakes decorated with paw prints; and traditional twilight cupcakes with “I love Edward” and “I love Jacob” designs.

Dayton’s professional hockey team also has the taste for Twilight.

The Dayton Gems are giving vampire teeth to the first 500 fans to their Nov. 17 game against the Bloomington Blaze.

And anyone who registers to give blood at the Dayton Community Blood Center Friday, Nov. 11 will receive a voucher for free admission to the Gems’ Twilight night.
