Darke County death under investigation
On November 8, 2011at approximately 5:12 pm, the Darke County 9-1-1
Center received a call advising of a deceased male subject in a remote
area near the Twin Maple Apartments, just north of Greenville,
Ohio. Deputies and Detectives from the Darke County Sheriff’s
Office responded to the scene. The male subject, later identified
as 32-year-old Timothy D. Hess of Greenville, was confirmed deceased by
responding officers.
Investigators from The Darke County Coroner’s Office were requested and
responded to the scene.
Family members of the decedent were notified by authorities.
Preliminary evidence is not suggestive of foul play. The death
remains under investigation by the Darke County Coroner’s Office and
the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
