Electrocution in Darke County

On November 14, 2011 at approximately 18:07 PM Darke County Deputies, along with Burkettsville Fire, St. Henry Rescue and the Darke County Corners Office responded to 100 Plum St., Burkettsville, in reference to a possible electrocution.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Joseph Werling, 39, of Burkettsville, was found deceased due to electrocution. This incident remains under investigation.
