New Hampshire man captured in Darke Co.

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio — The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team and Acting United States Marshal Patrick Sedoti for the Southern District of Ohio announced today that  Jeffrey SPICER  was arrested  Wednesday morning in northern Darke County village of New Weston.

The SOFAST team received a request from the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force for assistance in locating and apprehending SPICER after information was received that he had fled New England and had been hiding out with family members in Ohio.

SPICER had warrants entered into the system charging him with 2 Counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault of a minor and 2 additional counts of Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault of a minor between the ages of 13 and 16.  These offenses are alleged to have happened between April and August 2011 in New Hampshire

In the early morning hours of June 27, 2012 SOFAST traveled to New Weston and developed a description of SPICER’S vehicle.  SPICER was located in that vehicle in New Weston and a felony stop was conducted on him.

SPICER was taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Darke County Jail.  He will have further court proceedings there before being extradited back to New Hampshire.
