2 sentenced in Jan. Darke Co. meth lab raid

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio — Authorities said five adults from near Union City were sentenced to prison for operating a meth lab. 

A little more than five months ago, in the small village of Hillgrove, a home was raided and a meth lab was dismantled. 

Christine Melchor was among the latest to be sentenced in the Jan. 4 raid. She received five years’ probation, 53 days in jail with credit for time already served, ordered to pay court costs, $125 in restitution and pay a $5,000 drug fine. 

Also this week, Bryant Rhoades was sentenced to serve three years in prison, court costs and a $7,500 drug fine.
