COLUMBUS — State Senator Keith Faber (R- Celina) announced Monday the release of $100,000 through a state Rapid Outreach Grant to assist Midmark Corporation in their efforts to expand operations and add new full-time positions.

Midmark is a leading manufacturer of healthcare products that impact millions of people each day in the human and animal healthcare industries.

Located in the City of Versailles, the company is currently placing more than $30 million toward expansion plans.  The project is believed to include the creation of 63 new jobs and the retention of 760 existing positions.  The recently announced state funding will support the purchase of four MTS silent flow hydraulic pumps.

“This is another great example of the state working on the side of quality business operations in Ohio,” said Faber.  “I commend Midmark on their continued excellence and commitment to our region.”

Senator Faber represents Ohio’s 12th Senate District which includes Allen, Champaign, Mercer, Preble, and Shelby Counties, and contains portions of Auglaize and Darke Counties.  He currently serves as President Pro Tempore of the Ohio Senate.
