Midmark Corp. is investing $1.5 million into expanding its Versailles facility.

The medical equipment manufacturer announced in May it would move its executive offices to Dayton and add 100,000 square feet to its Versailles campus at 60 Vista Drive.

Sydney-based Ferguson Construction won the contract, according to a Miami County building permit. A spokesperson for Ferguson confirmed the award, but was not available for comment.

The company originally said it hoped to complete the project by late next year.

Midmark has about 1,500 employees, including 850 in the greater Dayton region.
