One Vehicle Rollover Accident 

On September 9, 2012 at approximately 3:03am Darke County Deputies along with Ansonia Fire, Ansonia Rescue and CareFlight responded to a one vehicle accident on State Route 47 near White Coppess Road. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2011 Nissan Infinti driven by Travis Hery (23), of Columbus, Indiana was eastbound on State Route 47 just west of White Coppess Road. Hery's vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a ditch and culvert causing the vehicle to overturn several times. The vehicle came to rest in a cornfield.   

Mr. Hery and the rear passenger, Justin Grant (21) of West Lafayette, Indiana were transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight, where they are both listed in stable condition. 

The Darke County Sheriff's Office Reconstruction Team also responded to the scene for further investigation. This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office, alcohol is suspected.
