Beagle honored as Watchdog of the Treasury 

COLUMBUS– State Senator Bill Beagle (R–Tipp City) was recognized this week as a “Watchdog of the Treasury” for his commitment to fiscal discipline during the 129th General Assembly.

“It is important for elected officials to remember that the money they are entrusted to oversee belongs to the people who elected them,” said Beagle. “Every hard-earned tax dollar must be carefully handled so that we can ensure a stable state government that serves the people’s interests.”
 
The Watchdog of the Treasury Award is given once every two years to legislators who have shown wise financial judgment as a lawmaker.

Senator Bill Beagle serves the people of Ohio’s 5th Senate District, which includes Miami County and portions of Montgomery and Darke Counties.
