Woman Robbed
with a Knife
Union City-- On Saturday April 13, 2013 at appoximately 12:39 am, Darke
County Deputies responded to an armed robbery at the trailer court
located at 503 Beamsville-Union City Road.
Preliminary investigation revealed 67 year old Judith Tacy was inside
her residence sitting in a chair when an unknown male entered her
residence through the unlocked side door with a large knife and held it
to her throat demanding her money and her medication. The suspect
is described as a white male, 5'10" - 6'0", wearing green clothing, ski
mask, and gloves.
The unknown suspect fled the residence taking with him the victim's
cordless phone and pain medication. The victim was able to call
911 on a cell phone and she was not injured during this incident.
Union City Ohio Police, Union City Indiana Police, and K-9 Unit from
Randolph County Indiana Sheriff's Office also assisted.
