One injured in single vehicle rollover
accident
On July 10, 2013 at approximately 12:38 PM Darke County Deputies along
with Tri-Village Rescue, New Madison Fire, Liberty Township Fire, and
CareFlight, responded to a one-vehicle injury rollover crash in the
2300 block of Hollansburg-Sampson Road.
Preliminary investigation revealed a white 2004 Ford F-150 driven by
Amanda Price 25, Hollansburg, Ohio was traveling east on
Hollansburg-Sampson Road and drove off the right side of the roadway
and overcorrected traveling off the left side of the roadway causing
the vehicle to roll over onto its side injuring the driver. Price
was airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital aboard CareFlight for her
injuries, and is currently listed in good condition.
It was also reported that a vehicle may have been traveling west on
Hollansburg-Sampson Road left of center being a factor in this accident.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's
Office.
