Dirt Bike Injury Accident

On September 18, 2013 at approximately 5:44 PM, Darke County Deputies along with Versailles Fire and Rescue and CareFlight responded to 9881 McGreevey Road on a report a male subject there who was involved in an injury dirt bike accident.

Preliminary investigation revealed Jordan Ruschau 19, Versailles, was riding a 2010 Kawasaki KFX250 dirt bike in a side ditch in the 10200 block of Christian Road, and struck a concrete culvert ejecting him from the dirt bike. Ruschau was then found by a passing motorist and taken to the McGreevey Road address. Ruschau was airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital aboard Careflight for his injuries, and is currently listed in good condition. Ruschau was not wearing a helmet at the time of crash.
