Rep. Adams to Host Event to Honor Pfc. Jeffrey L. Rice 

TROY, Ohio—State Representative Richard Adams (R-Troy) will be hosting a dedication program to honor Pfc. Jeffrey L. Rice, a soldier and native of Troy who was killed while serving in Afghanistan. A portion of State Route 55 in Miami County will be named the “Pfc. Jeffrey L. Rice Memorial Highway” in his honor. 

The program will be held on Monday, May 12th at 10 a.m. at the Troy Christian Church, located at 1440 E. State Route 55 in Troy. Members of the public and the media are invited to attend this event. 

The highway was designated the “Pfc. Jeffrey L. Rice Memorial Highway” through the passage of House Bill 19, legislation that was signed into law in March.
