firefighter jailed on voyeurism charges
MERCER COUNTY – A captain with the Greenville Fire Department, Troy A.
Wombold, 49, of Coldwater, is jailed on a $75,000 bond in the Mercer
County Jail on charges of video recording a minor female while nude.
According to documents filed in the Celina Municipal Court, Wombold
allegedly recorded an unaware minor female while she was in a bathroom.
He was arrested by the Coldwater Police Department on Nov. 19 on three
misdemeanor counts of Voyeurism, one fifth degree felony Voyeurism, and
one second degree felony count of Illegal Use of a Minor in Nudity
Oriented Material.
Wombold is a member of the Greenville Fire Department and is currently
on sick leave according to the fire chief. He is scheduled to appear in
court later this week.
