Drug bust results in arrest of two

Celina, OH - Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey and Celina Police Chief Tom Wale released details today of a joint investigation involving the Ohio Adult Parole Authority, the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, the Celina Police Department and the Grand Lake Drug Task Force.

On Wednesday at approximately 3:15 PM an Ohio Adult Parole Officer requested assistance checking on a parolee and ensuring his compliance with parole orders. When they arrived at the residence, violations were observed immediately. Officers then applied for and received a search warrant for the residence located at 751 Deford Street, Lot #100, Celina.

The search of the residence turned up 36 suspected heroin capsules and 11 suspected Alprazolam pills and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia. Celina Police Department's K-9 unit assisted in the search.

Dennis Clutter, 54, and William Culver, 49, of the Deford Street address were arrested and booked into the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility on charges of drug possession. The cases have been sent to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office for review. Additional charges are possible.

The Mercer County Sheriff's Office, Celina Police Department, and Task Force Officers continue to work together to battle the drug problems in the community.
